DO NOT LIVE HERE DO NOT LIVE HERE DO NOT LIVE HERE - These apartments are the WORST apartments in Houston. Packages are constantly being stolen, security is awful, the cameras that they place outside of the building do not work. People allow their animals to poop and pee everything. NOT TO MENTION, theres been raccoons roaming in the pool area, drinking the water. Cars are constantly being broken into. These garages are no better with people stealing and breaking car windows to get whatever they can out of the cars. These apartments also have bugs inside and are just not worth the rent residents pay. Please DO NOT LIVE HERE - pick anywhere else. Do not believe the 5-star reviews here. This place is disgusting!
Property Manager Responded: Hello Dominique - Thank you for taking the time to provide our community with this feedback. Terrible Management is
I lived at this property for over 2.5 years when it was under Camden management, and I was very happy during that time. Camden managed this community professionally and consistently. Unfortunately, the property was sold in October 2025, and in just two months under the new ownership I experienced more issues than I had in over 10 years with Camden across multiple properties.
To be fair, I’ll give credit where it’s due: they honored my transfer terms to another Camden property (which the lease required anyway). That’s about where the positives end.
The office staff is extremely unresponsive and disorganized. We submitted our intent to vacate on November 24, which was ignored for weeks. I eventually walked it into the office myself—only to later find out it was never logged. The same thing happened when we turned in our keys on December 30. No record of that either.
So when January 1 rolled around, we were charged rent and late fees. When we complained, suddenly no one knew anything about us moving out. Not surprising, considering the lack of basic paperwork or record keeping. Eventually, the charges were corrected, and I thought the ordeal was over.
Then came the attempt to charge us for “wall damages” with no itemization whatsoever. This is especially frustrating given that our apartment experienced at least five documented water leaks during our tenancy. It’s clear they are trying to push make-ready costs onto tenants, regardless of fault.
After they fired the on-site security guard, my car was broken into the day before we moved out, costing me $600 to repair the window. After paying out of pocket for that, I am absolutely not paying them to repaint an apartment.
Given the timing and pattern of these charges—after repeated complaints and clear dissatisfaction with management—it strongly feels retaliatory, as though they are attempting to penalize us rather than address their own operational failures.
As of now, the charges remain unresolved. At this point, it appears I may have to fight this through credit agencies or in court, not because of the amount, but on principle—they failed to follow basic guidelines and procedures, and tenants should not be punished for management’s lack of compliance.
Overall, this management company caused unnecessary stress and headaches. I would strongly recommend steering clear. If you’re apartment hunting, hire a good apartment locator—they’ll point you toward communities with competent, professional management.
Property Manager Responded: Hello Eli - We are disappointed to hear you do not agree with the move out charges you incurred. However, we want to make sure we provide the best home possible to the next resident just as we did with you. These charges were due to the cleaning and repairs needed to your home, and our team provided photos and descriptions of the charges in your Final Account Statement. If you have any additional questions about these charges, please give our office a call at (833) 549-4754, and we would be happy to speak with you further. Thank you, Maggie at CWS Customer Care

AMAZING location and great quality apartments!
This place is AMAZING!! The staff is SO nice and willing to help with any issue you might have. They also continually go above and beyond what is required to make your time at the community a great experience. The security they have in place is really great. Any crime you see posted from other reviews is literally such a tiny percentage of people who live here. The vast majority of people will never, ever have to deal with any crime related issues while you are staying here and what does happen is handled flawlessly by the staff. They just got new package lockers which are great and the security gates keep any unwanted visitors out very well. Any issues related to packages are not a fault of the community, but are usually a fault of the carrier not doing what they are supposed to be doing. The apartments themselves are amazing quality with really high ceilings and doors, and great styles. I was amazed that they have over 50 floorplans, so if you can't find a floorplan you like, you are being too picky lol. They also just finished a newly renovated pool which is SO cool. Not only are the amenities nice, but the location within midtown is so perfect. Super close to all of the restaurants and bars, but far enough away where you won't hear any of the noise or other things. Plenty of parking in their garages, and they even offer several guest parking options. If you get towed, it is your own fault since they have signage posted all throughout the garage. Great place to live and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment. No other community in the area compares to this place. I had to relocate for a new job, but I would have stayed if I could have!
Property Manager Responded: Thank you so much for taking the time to express your experience with us! We are so thrilled to know that you received Living Excellence during your time at Camden City Centre! Good luck on your new job! :)

High End Frat House
I was hoping for a professional community where I would be comfortable living, but what I got is more of a high end frat house. It definitely is everything that’s advertised in terms of location and amenities, but unfortunately the quality of the residents can make living here unpleasant. Animal excrement can be found in walking areas frequently, packages are stolen from door steps regularly, neighbors are noisy and have no regard for others, etc. The leasing office does what it can and everyone who works here is very pleasant, but for what we pay to live here you would want swifter, permanent actions taken to ensure we have a comfortable living experience. I haven’t even mentioned the outside disturbances that I can’t totally fault the property for, but there is a lot to account for here. It’s a great location, the aesthetics of the property and the apartments are really nice, but like I said the actions of other residents, and the safety/security issues surrounding the property really dull the shine of the property and make it frustrating to really be happy here. Doesn’t feel like a home should.
Property Manager Responded: Hi Yyjeljr,

DO NOT LIVE HERE
This community is not safe. There is countless crime occurring: Multiple stolen vehicles, tons of window smashing, 3 apartment break ins, 2 instances of aggravated assault with victims at gunpoint.
Property Manager Responded: Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to reach out. I am so sorry you have had these experiences and I understand your frustrations. We have partnered with HPD and other security organizations involved in the Midtown area to patrol the community. We are working diligently to find proactive solutions for security and have installed additional cameras, extra lighting, and security equipment on every entrance. Thank you for your feedback and please feel free to reach out to me directly at (713) 651-0350 or RDoro@camdenliving.com
Sincerely, Raeni Doro
